Council Member Samuel Newby attended the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony for Peyton Ridge Apartments, a new 123-unit affordable housing community along Corporate Square Boulevard.
Peyton Ridge Aparments is for people aged 55 and older making less than $30,000 a year, with 10 percent of the units for those who make less than $17,000 a year. The Vestcor project was financed by a combination of a Wells Fargo construction loan, funding from the Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority and the Low Income Housing Tax Credits administered by Florida Housing Finance Corp.
