Council Member Aaron Bowman was on hand when Gov. Rick Scott announced that Novolex will add 25 employees to its Hilex Poly plant on the westside.

The facility manufactures plastic bags for retailers and currently employs about 100 people.  The expansion at the westside plant is a $6 million investment in the facility.
