Cancellation Notice Public Meeting Hosted by Councilmember Brenda Priestly Jackson

The public meeting scheduled to occur at the Legends Center on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather caused by Hurricane Dorian and City of Jacksonville closures.  A meeting notice will be sent with a rescheduled date once it has been determined.

Members of neighborhood associations and interested parties in Council District 10 are invited to join the Honorable Brenda Priestly Jackson for a community planning meeting  on Wednesday, September 18.  Members of the community will have an opportunity to discuss and be involved in the formation of the Council District 10 Neighbors Advisory Council.  The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Webb Wesconnett Regional Library, 6887 103rd St., Jacksonville, FL  32210. Constituents and neighbors, whose housing is impacted by the Calloway Cove (Washington Heights) fire that occurred on July 23, 2019, may contact Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) for assistance. Please contact Suzanne Garrow, Esquire, Fair Housing Unit Coordinator, at (904) 356-8371 (ext. 374) and suzanne.garrow@jaxlegalaid.org with your concerns and questions. The JALA Fair Housing Unit has appointments available Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons weekly.
