LITIGATION SHADE MEETING NOTICE | Regarding Redistricting

Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and as requested by the Office of General Counsel and announced at a City Council Meeting, I am setting a litigation shade meeting of the Council to consider settlement negotiations and strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures as to the following case:
  • Jacksonville Branch of the NAACP, et. al, v. City of Jacksonville, et. al., Case No. 3:22-cv-493-MMH-LLL, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida
The meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Offices, Suite 425, Conference Room A, Fourth Floor, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. The meeting is expected to last 90 minutes.
Following the commencement of an open meeting, the governing body will move into a closed attorney-client session pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and only the following listed persons will be entitled to attend this session:
