Notice is hereby given that several Jacksonville Waterways Commissioners will be attending the “Ocala Water Wars Summit”, Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Marion County Commission Auditorium, McPherson Government Complex, 601 S.E. 25th Avenue, Ocala, FL. This summit is sponsored by the Smart Growth Coalition of North Central Florida (SCG), in conjunction with the Putnam County Environmental Council (PCEC) regarding gallons of water to be taken from the Ocklawaha River to twenty utilities in Central Florida. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
