City Council Installation Ceremony

Notice is hereby given that the Jacksonville City Council will meet for the purpose of hosting the 2018- 2019 Installation of Council Leadership Ceremony scheduled 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, Jacoby Hall- Auditorium – Times Union Center for Performing Arts located at 300 Water Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. Immediately following the installation ceremony a reception will be held in the Uible located within the Times Union Center for Performing Arts Building.
The ceremony is held to install the Honorable Aaron L. Bowman as the 2018-2019 Council President Designate, and Honorable Scott A. Wilson as the 2018-2019 Council Vice President Designate. In accordance with Council Rules the Council Leadership positions will become effective July 1, 2018. (Invited attendees will include the Jacksonville City Council Members, Constitutional Officers, Judges, Duval Delegation, and Congressional Representatives, appointed Board and Commission members of the City of Jacksonville as well as the public at large.)
