Subdivision Property Search

The Property Appraiser's website offers a wealth of information about properties and developments in Duval County.

A Homeowners Association may be able to use the data available through the Property Appraiser's site to obtain the real estate numbers for all the properties within that subdivision. If you are at all unsure about the results you obtain through this method, please seek alternative means of verification.

Read the Property Appraiser's Site Policy.

Step 1.

Go to the Property Appraiser's Advanced Search Web page

Step 2.

Scroll down to the fourth shaded box on the left side of the screen, titled 'Property Location'

Step 3.

Click on the magnifying glass to the right of the 'Subdivision' box; a 'Subdivision Lookup' window will appear

Step 4.

Type in your subdivision's name in the marked box . Please note: the Property Appraiser's data is based on how your subdivision was platted. The name may not be exactly the same as what you call your subdivision. If you're unsure, it may be helpful to just type in part of your subdivision name (i.e., Woods) and review all the results for the appropriate data. Your entire subdivision may be broken into different phases, parts, or units.

Select the appropriate result, and click the 'Add Selected' button. This will automatically close the Subdivision Lookup window and populate the Subdivision name on the main search screen. To select multiple results, hold the Crtl button and click on each selection OR repeat Step 4 until you have all of your selections in the Subdivision name box (they will be separated by commas).

Step 5.

Scroll to the bottom of the main Advanced Search screen, and click the 'Search' button. You will automatically to a search results screen that contains all of the properties within the subdivisions you selected.

Step 6. - Option 1 (for users with Microsoft Excel)

On the far right side of the search results screen, find the link titled 'Export to Excel' (located under the Refine Search button, above the column titled 'City').

Click 'Open' if you just wish to print out the results. This is not the city's preferred option, but will be accepted.

Click 'Save' on the window that asks if you wish to open or save the file. You may either save the file on a disc and submit it with your application, OR save the file to your computer and e-mail it to stormwater@coj.net.

Step 6. - Option 2

On the far right side of the search results screen, find the link titled 'Export to Plain Text' (located under the 'New Search' button, above the column titled 'ZIP'). A new window will appear:

Click 'Open' if you just wish to print out the results. This is not the city's preferred option, but will be accepted.

Click 'Save,' and either save the file on a disc and submit it with your application, or save the file to your computer and e-mail it to stormwater@coj.net.
