ADA Compliance Among Key Efforts
The city's IT staff has enhanced public-facing online services for a diverse population of users. ITD has taken concerted efforts to address the needs of users with special needs as well as users who need to read the site in a language other than English. The city's revamped website adheres to the federal Americans with Disabilities Act standards for users with physical impairments. In addition, the city's website includes a formatting structure that includes various language translations, such as French, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese.
