City revamps customer service portal

  Quickly connects citizens with public resources

The City of Jacksonville has released a new and improved online customer service portal.

The MyJax portal — — allows citizens to report requests for city services as well as access citizen-centric information quickly.

Customers may create an account, then access information regarding residential solid waste, recycling, and yard waste pick-up dates. The system allows citizens to report various issues such as broken or malfunctioning traffic signals, stray or abandoned animals, or maintenance problems at city parks or buildings.

Designed by the Information Technologies Department, the portal features sophisticated Oracle cloud-based storage technology, which more efficiently connects the service request with the proper city officials.
