Supports City Charter and Ordinance
ITD released a new Tree Mitigation System in an effort to capture and provide information regarding protected trees sometimes cut due to various construction projects throughout Duval County. The system -- https://jaxtreemitigation.coj.net/ -- aids the Tree Commission’s effort to mitigate the void between trees cut during site clearing and replacement efforts on the back-end of the construction project. This application provides greater transparency with bridging the gap between: 1) the Charter and Ordinance designed to generate revenue from site clearing permits, and 2) the expenditures due to tree planting projects.
