Public Service Grant Council is responsible for distributing the annual Public Service Grant Appropriation. It reviews and evaluates all applications based on established criteria; serves as an on-site evaluator and lead reviewer for a selected number of applicants; attends orientation sessions on all review sessions; and assures full participation in the allocation process.
To improve the lives of the people of Duval County by being a voice for the local nonprofit organizations who provide services through Public Service Grants.
1. Lobby for more funding
2. Be transparent and more available to nonprofit organizations to include a PSG Open House the week of April 14th
3. PSG Council to clearly explain outcome to City council.
4. Ensure to engage and increase the feedback with the Nonprofit Center.
