This event honors our Veterans, benefits the effort to BRING HOME THE USS ADAMS and supports K9s For Warriors. The 5K Race begins at 8:00 A.M with the ringing of the USS Charles F. Adams (DDG-2) Bell. There will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run and a Patriotic Paws Parade at 9:00 A.M.
Patriotic Paws Parade
This is the 2nd Annual 1-mile event. Bring your dressed-up pups! Some of the cutest Patriotic Paws participants will be recognized and have pictures posted on social media.
Awards
Finishers will receive a medal! The 1st place overall Male and 1st Place overall Female will receive $250 each in prize money! Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups from 12 and under to 80 and over.
