Got Your 6 is hosting its 4th annual Community Outreach and Wellness Fair at A. Philip Randolph Heritage Park on February 23. Got Your 6 is a non-profit organization designed to help assist female veterans in making the transition back to civilian life. This event offers free food distribution, clothing, hygiene kits, haircuts and several activities for the children. Its a fun filled day out in the community for the purpose of giving back. There are sponsorship, donor and volunteer opportunities available.

Zahara Veterans Network, Inc. is hosting a Townhall Meeting on Zahara Veterans Village at Five Star Veterans Center Inc. on Saturday, February 23.

The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department, in coordination with Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. (TRLS) and Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps, will host its free monthly legal consultation for veterans and their families.

The Veterans Council of Duval County will meet Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The meeting will be held at American Legion Post 137 at 7:00 P.M.

In January, seven Veterans were interred without any friends or family at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. On Thursday, February 14, these Veterans will be honored with a ceremony open to the public at 3:00 P.M. All are invited to demonstrate their respect and support. The ceremony should last no longer than 20 minutes.
