Join the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs (FDVA) for a virtual event entitled, ‘MST & PTSD Survivor: ‘Hear Me, See Me. Empowered Advocate’ taking place during Mental Illness Awareness Week. The target audience is Women Veterans who have experienced MST and PTSD, and those providers, individuals, active duty, and Veterans interested in learning more. The goal is to raise awareness of services and advocacy to empower Women.

This series will be on Wednesday, October 7th 6:30-8:30 p.m. (EST) and will focus on Services and Advocacy. A workshop for our community White Star Family Members, who have endured the loss of a service member, veteran or first responder to suicide. In a supportive, collaborative space, we will explore various perspectives on healing and transforming from the trauma of sudden loss and grief. Lunch will be provided.
