There will be a ground-breaking ceremony for the new North Jacksonville Parkway at the intersection of Lannie Road and Ethel Road, adjacent to the entrance of the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

 

The Job Fair will take place on the second level in the TIAA Field East Club. Within the East Club, the event will be on the lower level. Follow RecruitMilitary signs to the event space. Free parking is available in lot C/D. Enter the building through the East Club Gate North and through the front doors of the East Club.

The Military and Veterans Resource Center at the University of North Florida will host a Veterans Day Tribute on Thursday, Nov. 7 to honor and recognize students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members who have served or are still serving in the military.

There will be a free food distribution at the VA Outpatient Clinic. Food is first come, first served. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. Please bring bags or containers to help carry multiple bags of food. This is a free event open to the public while supplies last.

There will be a Veterans Art Display in the City Hall Atrium from Monday, November 4th through Friday, November 8th featuring local veterans' art. This art is provided by the Vet Center.
