Beginning with the 2019 scholarship cycle, scholarships will be available for Career and Technical Education (CTE). CTE programs are typically 12-18 month education programs. These one-time scholarships will join the existing two-year and four-year scholarships that are currently available.

These scholarships are available for any accredited post-secondary CTE programs and any type of institution that offers them. Scholarship applications are now available for 2019. Scholarships are due April 15th for 2019 scholarship awards. In addition to the two- and four-year scholarships and the new CTE Scholarship, special scholarships are available for children of Seabees killed or wounded in action.

The Seabee Memorial Scholarship Association is the nation’s only provider of need-based scholarships
for the children and grandchildren of individuals who have served with America’s fighting Seabees and the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC). SMSA has awarded scholarship to over 900 students, totaling over $5.3 million since 1972.
