Blanket Forts
Did you make blanket forts as a kid? If you did, We're sure you remember how cozy and safe you felt inside a blanket fort. Our scared dogs feel the same way! We did a pilot test of an idea to provide shy dogs with a place to retreat in their kennel and it was a success! The idea is simple, a blanket is draped over two pressure mounted curtain rods. For just $5.00, you can provide comfort and safety to scared dogs in our shelter by donating tension curtain rods (28 – 48” tension rods work best). Donations can be shipped to or dropped off at Animal Care and Protective Services located at 2020 Forest Street in Jacksonville, FL. Our fearful dogs look forward to cozying up in their new blankets forts!
