The lifesaving learning continues! Staff members Mandy, Elin, and Franny recently attended apprenticeships at Austin Pets Alive through Maddie’s Lifesaving Academy. These incredible opportunities allow our staff to brainstorm with other shelters and bring new ideas back to Jacksonville to help us save more lives. Mandy learned all about Feline Lifesaving while Franny concentrated on the dogs through the Canine Lifesaving Master class. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about adoptions! Elin learned all about streamlining the adoption process during the Matchmaker Placement Program apprenticeship.
