Recognizing that citizens want information about their community, we have taken efforts to gather resources from various places.  We have tried to organize the information and present it in an efficient manner that is easy to follow.

Information will be grouped in three categories:  Federal, State and Local Government.  Each will have its own page to share information.  Most will be links to data or reports.  Our intent is to assemble these resources in a single place to make it easier to find.

Compliance Assistance

The Environmental Quality Division implements the Rules approved by the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board to protect our natural resources within Duval County.  Those rules establish standards which must be met to maintain air and water quality and to manage noise and odor issues.

Contained within the rules are requirements which must be met for items such as erosion and sediment controls on construction sites, maintenance and operations of lift stations and wastewater treatment facilities and systems.  In an effort to increase compliance in those areas, we have compiled useful information that we can share to help understand the rules and the requirements.
