It's almost time to sign your kids up for some fun during their spring break at our FREE JaxParks Spring Break Camp 2023, March 13 - 17! We will engage them in fitness activities, sports, arts and crafts, and lots of games. Online registration begins, Tuesday, February 21st at noon. JaxParks Youth Camps Heat Up for Summer Fun!

Registration

Welcome back! 2022 Summer Camp Registration begins Tuesday, May 3rd at 12:00 pm (noon) for Day-Enrichment Camp and May 13th at 9 am for Tennis Camp. Registration is required to attend and you must create or update your profile in the JaxParks Summer Camp registration system in order to register.

Summer Camp Information

JaxParks makes summer time the best time for youth with a bevy of camp experiences packed with sports, arts, adventure and friends. It's all about creating special memories that will make your summer the best.

JaxParks Enrichment camp is for ages 6 - 12.  Camp this year is offered in three (3) sessions and will be on a first come, first serve basis. 

  • Session I     June 13th - June 24th (No camp on Monday, June 20th Juneteenth observed)

  • Session II    June 27th - July 8th  (No camp on July 5th)

  • Session III   July 11th - July 22nd

Day-Enrichment Camps (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

small boy holding basketballCampers will explore a variety of activities including STEM themed enrichment, sports, arts and crafts, games and field trips. 

Ages: 6 - 12
Fee: $95 ($20 non-refundable)
Extended Care Hours: Before Camp 7:00 am - 8:00 am and/or After Camp 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Extended Care Fee: $20 per session
Registration: Begins at noon on May 3rd and will be available online at here or contact the Summer Camp staff at (904) 255-7932.

Please note these are not specialty camps. The STEM themes will only be part of the educational component of the camps.

Tennis Camp (hours vary)

small girl playing tennisCampers will participate based on age and skill level. Ten (10) and Under Tennis for ages 6 - 10 utilizes age-appropriate equipment and is played on a smaller sized court. Advanced Beginners for ages 11 - 14 emphasizes serving techniques and game play situations. Download the 2022 Tennis Camp flyer

Ocean Camp (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) - DATES ARE TO BE DETERMINED

Participants explore the waters and shoreline at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. Activities include surfing, sand castle creation, beach art, beach volleyball and environmental adventures. Campers must pass a pre-registration swim test administered by JaxParks staff.

Location: Hanna Park, 500 Wonderwood Drive 32233
Ages: 10 - 14
Fee: $150 per participant per two-week session, extended day is available for $25 per two-week session
Registration: Will be announced by JaxParks Aquatics Office, 4012 University Blvd. N.  32277.

Summer Camp Voucher Information

Fee vouchers will be distributed through a lottery system. There are four voucher verification sites to choose from. Attendance at one of the voucher verification sessions is required to be entered into the lottery. Please bring all proper paperwork to the voucher verification session. Rec N' Roll (10:30 am - 6:30 pm) 

Rec’N Roll Program for ages 6 - 17. This urban parks initiative provides free, structured and non-structured activities in 12 parks from 10:30 am—6:30 pm beginning Monday, June 6th through Friday, July 29th. Young children should be accompanied by a teenager or guardian. No registration required.

This is a drop in program where children in the neighborhood can engage in games and other activities to keep them entertained. This is not a day camp

SNL - Summer Night Lights (6:00 pm - 10:00 pm)

SNL is for teenagers.  This program provides impact programming for teens in an effort to reduce crime and offer alternative solutions for youth during the evenings.
