The City of Jacksonville in partnership with Job Accommodation Network presents

Employer Information Presentation:
Disability Inclusion and ADA Compliance During the Hiring Process

Businesses that are inclusive of individuals with disabilities can benefit from a wider pool of talent. Recruiters, hiring managers, and service providers should be knowledgeable about disability inclusion, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title I compliance, and how to navigate the hiring process with qualified candidates with disabilities. This training will include hiring best practices, practical ADA compliance and interactive process tips, and job accommodation solutions for the hiring process.

Presenter Tracie DeFreitas is a Principal Consultant and ADA Specialist for the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), the leading national source of expert guidance on workplace accommodation and disability employment issues. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the disability employment field, Tracie is one of JAN’s most senior consultants.
