The City of Jacksonville in partnership with Job Accommodation Network presents
Employer Information Presentation:
Engaging in the Interactive Accommodation Process in a COVID-19 Pandemic World
Businesses continue to evolve to respond to the impact of COVID-19. Employers must be prepared to engage in an interactive process to determine their responsibilities under relevant federal laws, who qualifies to receive a job accommodation, and what is reasonable. This training focuses on applying a practical interactive process for evaluating COVID-19 related job accommodation requests.
Presenter Tracie DeFreitas is a Principal Consultant and ADA Specialist for the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), the leading national source of expert guidance on workplace accommodation and disability employment issues. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the disability employment field, Tracie is one of JAN’s most senior consultants.
