The City of Jacksonville has invested in an extensive network of preservation parks that benefit the environment and our community. With over 20 preservation parks that are open to the public from sunrise to sunset, you can explore the great outdoors and discover a variety of natural habitats, native plants, and local wildlife. Jacksonville’s preservation parks are the perfect place to escape from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life, experience nature, and enjoy your favorite outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, bird watching, and camping.
