Representatives from CareerSource Northeast Florida reviewed resumes, helped job seekers complete applications, and conducted mock interviews. The Mayor's Community Based Crime Reduction Program, New Town Success Zone, Edward Waters College, and Celebration Church also conducted a drive-thru "Grocery Giveaway" in conjunction with the Hiring Event. Lunch was provided to residents and jobseekers alike. Amazon expects massive post-pandemic business growth and is on a mission to revitalize the economy by hiring workers throughout Jacksonville.
