In partnership with The Mayor’s Community Based Crime Reduction Program and Feeding Northeast Florida, The New Town Success Zone hosted a well-attended food distribution and resource health fair. 26 volunteers distributed 4,912 pounds of food to 342 residents. Citizens also received a plethora of critical health screenings, nutritional guides, medical counsel, fair housing opportunities, and information about additional wrap around services offered throughout the City of Jacksonville.
The Mayor’s Community Based Crime Reduction Program could not be a success without the support of our Community Partners. We truly appreciate their contributions that provide vital resources and reduce crime in Northwest Jacksonville's most vulnerable neighborhoods.
