Representatives from CareerSource Northeast Florida will review resumes, help job seekers complete applications, and conduct mock interviews. The Mayor's Community Based Crime Reduction Program, New Town Success Zone, Edward Waters College, and Celebration Church will also conduct a drive-thru "Grocery Giveaway" in conjunction with the Hiring Event. Lunch will be provided for the first 15 job seekers who complete Amazon applications on site. Amazon expects massive post-pandemic business growth and is on a mission to revitalize the economy by hiring workers throughout Jacksonville.
