Did you know that Jacksonville is home to one of the world's largest financial technology companies? Fidelity Information Systems--or FIS--is a Fortune 500 company and $12 billion global business leaders in payment processing, financial software and banking solutions.

On Oct. 10, I had the pleasure of attending the Quartlery JAXUSA Partnership Luncheon to higlight Jacksonville's growing reputation as a regional hub for the financial sector. Our city is home to multiple well-known and wide-reaching financial services companies such as Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank, TIAA Bank, MacQuarie Group, and (of course) FIS.

Over the years, FIS has grown to more than 55,000 employees worldwide, serving more than 20,000 clients in more than 130 countries and has topped the FinTech 100 six times in the last decade.

Time and time again, these companies are choosing to grow and expand here in Jacksonville because of our business-friendly environment, high quality of life, and skilled workforce. We have built significant momentum and remain focused on growing these efforts to bring even more success to our region.
