Craig D. Feiser, joined the Office of General Counsel in December 2010. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Mr. Feiser was with the firm of Volpe, Bajalia, Wickes, Rogerson & Wachs, P.A., where he practiced primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and appellate practice. Attorney Feiser previously worked for the Florida Solicitor General’s Office, where he served as a Deputy Solicitor General handling major appellate matters for the State. He has briefed and argued several cases before Florida state appellate courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Feiser also worked as a commercial litigation associate at Holland & Knight LLP in Jacksonville.

Mr. Feiser was also an assistant professor at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he taught in the areas of Constitutional Law and Professional Responsibility. Mr. Feiser has also served as an adjunct professor at Florida Coastal School of Law and at Florida State University College of Law, where he taught Media Law and First Amendment Law. He was also a law clerk to the Honorable John H. Moore, II, Senior District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat, Circuit Judge for the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Feiser received a Bachelor of Arts degree,with high honors, from Michigan State University in 1992, with a major in journalism. He also earned a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida in 1998. He received his Juris Doctor Degree, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1998. Before entering law school, Mr. Feiser worked as a newspaper reporter and editor in Michigan and Georgia for three years.

Mr. Feiser is member of the Florida Bar and the bars of all federal district courts in Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice.
