Wendy L. Mummaw joined the General Counsel’s Office in March 2003. Mrs. Mummaw practices in the areas of bankruptcy, foreclosure, quiet title and animal law. Mrs. Mummaw defends the City of Jacksonville and it's independent agencies in civil service hearings and arbitrations regarding employment related issues.  Ms. Mummaw previously practiced landlord/tenant law, housing and employment discrimination and workers' compensation. In December 2008, Mrs. Mummaw was appointed by the Mayor to be a Special Master for Municipal Code Compliance.

Prior to joining the General Counsel’s Office, Mrs. Mummaw was in private practice with Rahaim, Watson, Dearing, Berry & Moore, P.A. where she specialized in Workers’ Compensation from June 2000 until March 2003. Prior to joining Rahaim, Watson, Dearing, Berry & Moore, P.A., Mrs. Mummaw was a paralegal with the Office of General Counsel.

Mrs. Mummaw is a member of United States Middle District Court of Florida, The United States Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Florida, the Florida Association of County Attorneys and The Florida Bar.
