In partnership with the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, Mayor Lenny Curry announced today the winning public art project for the Duval County Courthouse lawn, by unanimous vote and perfect score, is Cliff Garten Studio of Venice, CA. Mr. Garten will construct and reveal his project during our city’s bicentennial year and for the 10^th anniversary of the Courthouse building.

Jacksonville’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration will return this year at multiple locations throughout the city to celebrate the nation’s independence. At each location, the City of Jacksonville is offering a spectacular fireworks display that will begin at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

On Monday, May 31, the City of Jacksonville will host a virtual Memorial Day Observance, to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to our country.
