2015-2016 Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Mobile Collection Events

Continuing a commitment to address blight and poor neighborhood conditions, the mayor and his administration support and promote initiatives and events that encourage appropriate disposal of waste and other debris throughout Jacksonville. One of these many efforts is through the Solid Waste Division, which is hosting 10 household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste) mobile collection events throughout the city.

WHEN/WHERE:

All HHW events will be 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Nov. 14, 2015 – Normandy Park: 1728 Lindsey Rd.
  • Dec. 12, 2015 – Mandarin Park: 14780 Mandarin Rd.
  • Jan. 9, 2016 – Oceanway Park: 12215 Sago Ave.
  • Jan. 23, 2016 – Jacksonville Beach Public Works Department: 1460 Shetter Ave.
  • Feb. 13, 2016 – Ed Austin Regional Park: 2450 Monument Rd.
  • March 12, 2016 – Lonnie Miller Park: 7689 Price Ln.
  • March 26, 2016 – Blue Cypress Park: 4012 University Blvd. N.
  • April 16, 2016 – Normandy Park: 1728 Lindsey Rd.
  • May 14, 2016 – Jacksonville Beach Public Works Department: 1460 Shetter Ave.
  • June 11, 2016 – Ed Austin Regional Park: 2450 Monument Rd.

  • Gun powder
  • Ammunition and fireworks
  • Fluorescent bulbs and tubes, including CFL light bulbs
  • 20-pound propane cylinders
