SPECIAL EVENTS
6th Annual Back to School SmARTs Artwalk
Wednesday, August 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Join Downtown Vision and Friends of Hemming Park for a "Back to School" themed Art Walk. Enjoy musical performances on the Hemming Park main stage by Vibe RW from 5-7 p.m. and Groove Coalition from 7:15-9 p.m. Stop by the Hemming Park tent (adjacent to the main stage) for adult beverages and information about upcoming events. This month's featured brewery is Engine 15.
ArtWalk is presented by Downtown Vision on the first Wednesday of every month, rain or shine. More than 60 ArtWalk venues stretch across Downtown Jacksonville’s core and include galleries, museums, businesses and more. Hemming Park serves as ArtWalk headquarters and hosts a variety of artists and live performances every month.
College Colors Food Truck Takeover
Tailgate Edition - Florida vs. Miami
Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Join us for delicious food, live music, cold beer and more during our College Colors Food Truck Takeover before the University of Florida Gators - Miami Hurricanes football game! We're "Taking Over" at Hemming Park with Jacksonville's premier food trucks, live music by the Ouija Brothers, a cash bar, local vendors, and family-friendly fun. Get downtown and enjoy great local eats before cheering on your favorite Florida team.

Jax Taco Fest (3rd Party Event)
Saturday, August 17 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
It’s time for Taco Heaven! Jax Taco Fest will feature more than 50 varieties of tacos, vendors, and a beer and tequila bar. This event includes FREE ENTRY, is family and pet-friendly, and will be held rain or shine.

Skyway Saturdays
Saturday, August 24 - Skyway runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We are excited to announce our new monthly partnership with the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA), MOCA, MOSH, the Jacksonville Public Library, Visit Jacksonville and Sweet Pete's. The Skyway will run one Saturday per month. Mark your calendar for a full day of family fun in downtown Jacksonville! Take advantage of free Skyway service and visit Hemming Park and our partners
LIVE MUSIC
Friends of Hemming Park will be hosting live music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Wednesday music is sponsored by Jax Vision Care. Bring a packed lunch or purchase lunch from one of our food trucks. See you in the park!
