“The Monoclonal antibody site provides a COVID-19 treatment that has and will continue to save Jacksonville lives,” Mayor Lenny Curry said. “I want to thank Governor DeSantis for his support in providing this life-saving treatment to our citizens as we continue to fight against COVID-19."

Free Regeneron Antibody Treatment was first offered at the Main Library on August 17, 2021. To date, 11,352 patients have been able to receive the treatment at this location, helping minimize their symptoms and keeping them from needing to seek care at one of our local hospitals, which were reaching capacity during the summer months.

The Main Library location will remain operational through the close of business (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on Thursday, December 9. Beginning Friday, December 10, crews will begin thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the facility at all touch points and fogging the space with an aerosol process called Evaclean.

The Main Library will reopen to the public on Monday, December 13 at 9 a.m.
