City Launches Web Page to Inform Public About Preparedness Efforts for Coronavirus

March 03, 2020
Citizens Urged to Visit JAXREADY.com/Virus for Current Information
The City of Jacksonville’s Emergency Preparedness Division (JAXREADY) has launched JAXREADY.com/Virus, a go-to resource for Duval County residents to get the latest information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and any impacts to the Jacksonville area.

“The health and safety of Jacksonville citizens is my top priority,” said Mayor Lenny Curry. “As we address the potential impacts of coronavirus on our community, it is important that citizens receive timely and accurate information to ensure they are prepared. This webpage will contain important updates and information from our emergency management team; local, state and federal partners; and other key stakeholders that we have been working with since late January.”

The City of Jacksonville Emergency Preparedness Division will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation and will provide timely updates on this webpage and on City social media channels.
