City of Jacksonville's Animal Care & Protective Services to Host a Free Four-Day Adoption Event

Enjoy the long weekend with a new furry friend

The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) is celebrating Labor Day by hosting a four-day pet adoption event.
 
There will be free adoptions on all dogs and cats. There are more than 100 available dogs for adoption. City license fee may apply. Adoption hours are:
  • Thursday, Sept. 2nd from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 3rd from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 4th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 5th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 
“Relax, enjoy and adopt a new labor of love this holiday weekend,” said ACPS Shelter Manager Marcy Gallo. Visit the ACPS shelter (2020 Forest St. – 32204) in person or visit www.coj.net/pets to view available pets.
