COVID-19 Update from Mayor Lenny Curry

Mayor Lenny Curry and city officials have briefed the media on the latest with the local case of COVID-19.
- The person who tested positive was in a nursing home in the Town Center area and is in quarantine at a local hospital.
- The 5 Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department personnel who took the person to the hospital are also in quarantine
- All events at COJ facilities like Daily's Place and the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena are canceled
- All parks, all Jacksonville Public Library branches, and the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will be closed until further notice starting at the end of the day today.
