The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will offer free shredding services to Duval County residents at the 10
th annual America Recycles Day event. In addition to recyclables and materials to be shredded, residents are encouraged to bring items for donation, including gently-used shoes, blankets and coats, towels, trial-size products, pet food (unopened), eyeglasses, office and school supplies, and arts and crafts supplies. GENERAL INFO:
This drop-off event is only for Duval County residents. Commercial/business recyclables will not be accepted. Other than cell phones and chargers, no electronic waste will be accepted. Absolutely no liquids or household hazardous waste will be accepted. Residents may take those items to the City’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 2675 Commonwealth Ave. For more information or to arrange for special handling of unusual material, call (904) 387-8847.
