The Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board (JEPB), in partnership with WJCT and Jacksonville University (JU), will release the 2020 State of the River Report, Thursday, Oct. 22.
This year’s expanded release will include two free virtual activities: An in-depth presentation featuring several of the lead researchers and a panel discussion with representatives from the City of Jacksonville, City Council, St. Johns Riverkeeper and JU. The presentation will begin at 4 p.m. followed by the forum at 7 p.m. The public is invited to register for both events at www.wjct.org/events. The full report will also be available at www.sjrreport.com.
The JEPB-funded river report details the health of the Lower St. Johns River Basin based on indicators that include water quality, fisheries, aquatic life and contaminants.
