James Weldon Johnson Park Announces Events and Programming for December 2020

Celebrate the Holidays in James Weldon Johnson Park
December 1, 2020 - Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park is proud to host events in James Weldon Johnson Park located at 135 W. Monroe Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville.

WEEKLY PROGRAMMING

Monday – Friday: Food trucks and live music at Charlie’s CafĂ©, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

SPECIAL EVENTS

Totally Lit: Hanukkah Celebration (Live and Virtual)
Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Join James Weldon Johnson Park, Gili’s Kitchen, Catering and Baker and the Jacksonville Jewish Center for our annual celebration of Hanukkah featuring music, dreidel games and storytelling. This year, we’ll be broadcasting a menorah lighting ceremony on Facebook Live. A few socially distant tables will be available, but registration is required. Each family that registers will receive a goodie bag with a dreidel and gelt to play with your group. We ask that you please do not share amongst tables. Menorah lighting will be at 6 p.m.
