The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) is celebrating Independence Day by hosting a five-day pet adoption event.
 
There will be free adoptions on all dogs and cats 1 year and older. City license fee may apply. Adoption hours are:

• Wednesday, June 30^th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Thursday, July 1^st from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Friday, July 2^nd from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, July 3^rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday, July 4^th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 
“Give a deserving pet their independence this 4^th of July! While some animals are adopted more quickly than others, all pets available for adoption at ACPS make great additions to families in our community,” said ACPS Shelter Manager Marcy Gallo.
