"Better Together" Book Release

December 08, 2012 - December 08, 2012 6 to 8 p.m.
Animal Care and Protective Services
2020 Forest Street
Jacksonville, Florida 32204
Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) will open its doors to the public in an after-hours event to support the new photography book “Better Together” produced by the Friends of Jacksonville Animals (FOJA). The group is one of the vital nonprofit agencies that provides crucial animal support and services, such as heartworm treatment for dogs, on behalf of ACPS.
FOJA volunteers donated their photography, writing and designing talents to create the 40-page, hardcover book at no cost to ACPS. “Better Together” highlights twelve local animal rescue stories from ACPS, First Coast No More Homeless Pets, the Jacksonville Humane Society and other local rescues. The book will be available for purchase online or can be bought at the book release event for $50. For more information visit the book’s website.

A representative from ACPS, volunteers from FOJA, as well as other animal rescue organizations will be available for media interviews at the event.
