The Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Commission (KJB) will host an educational fundraiser to honor City Councilmember Jim Love for his environmental achievements. The event will also recognize sponsors, volunteers and organizations for their efforts to clean up and beautify Jacksonville during KJB events in 2013.
Councilmember Love will be presented the Jake Godbold Award for outstanding environmental service to the community.
In 2013, more than 9,000 volunteers participated in clean-ups and beautification projects throughout Jacksonville communities. Information about volunteer opportunities and upcoming events can be found at

The free event is open to the public and will feature a silent auction, refreshments and a brief program. All proceeds from the event will support the activities and programs sponsored by Keep Jacksonville Beautiful.
