More than 6,000 U.S. veterans die by suicide each year. The highest rate of veteran suicide is in the age group 18 to 34. That is also the largest demographic separating from active duty every year. We have over 150,000 veterans in NE Florida. They are family, friends, co-workers and neighbors who have risked their lives to protect our community. The least our community can do is work together to protect them.
