The City of Jacksonville is excited to announce the return of one of the city’s most beloved traditions, the annual Jacksonville Light Boat Parade. The parade is back to light up the St. Johns River on Nov. 26 beginning at 6 p.m. and will feature boats of all shapes and sizes. The evening will wrap up with one of the best fireworks displays featuring “waterfalls” off the Main Street and Acosta Bridge.

The swearing‐in ceremony is scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022, at 9:30am and will be held at City Hall at St. James Building, City Council Chambers, located at 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Fl.

The City of Jacksonville’s Solid Waste Division will host a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste (e-waste) Mobile Collection event on Saturday, Nov. 19. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ed Austin Regional Park (3450 Monument Rd.)
