Ground-Breaking Ceremony at the Intersection of Lannie and Ethel Road

November 08, 2019 10:30 A.M.

There will be a ground-breaking ceremony for the new North Jacksonville Parkway at the intersection of Lannie Road and Ethel Road, adjacent to the entrance of the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

The Rotary Club of North Jacksonville takes great pride in being able to support one of the most military-friendly Veterans’ regions in the entire United States, if not, the friendliest. The Jacksonville National Cemetery honors and remembers all veterans and their families, especially the Gold Star Families whose beloved soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines gave their lives in the line-of-duty defending our great country so that we can live ours. Accordingly, this new Parkway is being constructed to accommodate the families and the friends of our fallen heroes.

For further information please contact either Alphaeus L. Richburg, Cemetery Director (904)766-5975;  or, The Support Committee Public Information Officer, Pat Mulvihill at (904)741-0965 EXT 15.
