The City of Jacksonville, Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD) administers federal funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City uses the funds to preserve neighborhoods, create and preserve affordable housing, and stimulate economic revitalization.
Funding will be made available on an ongoing basis through the HOME program grant which the City receives from HUD each year. These funds will be made available in the form of repayable loans. Applications for the creation and preservation of affordable housing will be accepted beginning August 1, 2019. All Applicants must submit two (2) bound copies, using the tab system provided in the Application Checklist, as well as one (1) electronic copy, via USB memory stick, of the full Application package. No Applications will be received via email or fax.

Training sessions will be held four (4) times a year. Training certificates will be valid for a period of twelve (12) months. Applicants must submit a valid training certificate with each application.
