Free Career Counseling for Veterans

The City of Jacksonville Military Affairs, Veterans and Disabled Services (MAVDS) department is hosting its monthly free career and employment counseling seminar for veterans and active duty military as part of the city’s commitment to assisting veterans in securing employment.
Military veterans who are interested in career counseling, resume help, interview preparation, translation of military skills to civilian jobs, and overall assistance in preparing for a successful post-military career.
 
The free, monthly seminars are provided by Incepture, Inc., a leading staffing and managed solutions company based in Jacksonville and a member of the City of Jacksonville’s Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition (JMVC) “Jobs for Vets” initiative.
   
The City of Jacksonville and the JMVC are dedicated to helping veterans and their families transition to, and excel in, civilian life. A key to achieving this success is having the right approach and guidance in finding the best career for each veteran.
