Ray Holt joined the City Council in 2007. Ray was raised in Jacksonville, in the community that he now serves. Ray earned his Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, and his Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida.
Ray has been married to his lovely wife Nanette since 1997 and has the three most adorable children on the planet. Ray works with Family Support Services of North Florida, the lead agency providing child protection services in Duval and Nassau counties. He and his family attend First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
