The Veterans Council of Duval County will meet Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The meeting will be held at American Legion Post 137 at 7:00 P.M. Social Distancing will be used, please bring your mask or one will be provided.

As the city, state, and nation continue to cautiously reopen in the wake of COVID-19, the City of Jacksonville is hosting a virtual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 25, to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to our country.
 

A workshop for our community White Star Family Members, who have endured the loss of a service member, veteran or first responder to suicide. In a supportive, collaborative space, we will explore various perspectives on healing and transforming from the trauma of sudden loss and grief. Lunch will be provided. The Jacksonville Outpatient Clinic presents "What You Should Know about VA Healthcare". This event is open to the public. No RSVP required! Join Women in Defense First Coast Chapter for their second annual EMPOWER event, which is a 
half-day of professional development activities for women (men welcome, too!) and a half-day of STEM activities for kids, at University of North Florida.

Prior to tournament week, THE PLAYERS will welcome active duty, Reserve, retired military, veterans, and military spouses to TPC Sawgrass on Saturday, March 7th, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Birdies for the Brave® Patriots’ Outpost, to participate in its annual Military Job Fair, in partnership with the Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition. 

The next Vets4Vets Quarterly Gathering will be on February 29, 2020. The gathering will also feature a welcome home tribtue to Vietnam Veterans. There will be free parking in Lot Z and a free buffet lunch. This event is free for all Veterans.

Notice is hereby given that The Fire Watch Council will meet at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2020 in Lynwood Roberts room on the 1st Floor of the Jacksonville City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. This meeting will be a public meeting of The Fire Watch Council for the purposes of gathering public feedback from Duval County residents regarding the multi-faceted Fire Watch plan to fight veteran suicide in Northeast Florida.
