Adoptable Pets Online
Use this section to search our database to locate your missing companion animal, or to discover your new best friend! You don't have to be a computer hound—it's easy!
If your pet is missing you should always visit or call Animal Care and Protective Services. Keep checking back because animals are brought to the shelter every day.
Please Note: Animals in the Lost Pets section are not available for adoption. These are someone's missing pet, and we hold them to allow them to be reunited with their owners. If you are interested in an animal listed in the 'Lost Pets' section, it may become available after their holding period.

Note: The adoption application is provided online for convenience. The completed adoption application must be presented in person at Animal Care and Protective Servicesr at the time of adoption.
To ensure each animal is placed with an appropriate home, we screen potential adopters during the application process. The basic requirements are as follows:
Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. A photo ID is required. Proof of current rabies and city license must be provided for any animals currently in the household. If the property is not owned by the adopter, approval is required by the property owner.
Other factors may come in to play as well, depending on the animal, such as a small dog that does not get along with children. Those aspects will be reviewed during the application process
All dogs and cats four months and older are vaccinated for rabies and licensed before they are adopted.
